Goodreads

Intergalactic Droid Agency, I mean really… it is too funny. The style of the art here is just so 1980’s. I think it makes our heroes a little less recognizable, especially R2-D2. There are some fantastic droid designs in the ship dropping them off that are totally fun but totally not cannon, especially now. I like that we have a young hero. I like how the bad guys of this era so often have a very fantasy-esque vibe to them. We have some good classic C-3PO and R2-D2 humor as the protocol droid makes R2 do all the hard work. I didn’t read any thing like this back then but it still feels very reminiscient to me. I think it is interesting that this series bases their adventures away from the normal Star Wars arc. I often wonder about the timeline of the droids. I’m not sure that this really made sense in their overall arc but it is fun regardless.
