Yay, I’m caught up! I haven’t seen the movie yet I’m a bit scared. Will is a normal boy turning 11, but then he finds out that he is not just a boy but so much more and he has ancient duties that will determine the future of the world. Only one character carries over from the previous book, but you are glad to see him. Magic is much more present but in a very elegant way. You find yourself sympathizing with Will as he leads his two lives that are so very different and yet so deeply intertwined. You do not really see very many direct connections between the Arthurian legend of the first book, but you have the feeling they will come later.
